ADEN, July 24 (YPA) – Four people were killed, including a woman, in a roadside bomb blast in Yemen’s southern province of Aden on Tuesday, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.
The bomb, planted by unknown gunmen in a security checkpoint, targeted a convoy carrying colonel Rami Mothana, the commander of the so-called 4th security belt brigade west of Enma city in al-Buraiqeh district.
The colonel survived the attack, while a number of his escorts were wounded.
Aden city and other southern provinces, under the control of the UAE and Saudi occupation forces, have been witnessing chaos amid conflict between UAE and Saudi Arabia over control of the Yemeni lands, islands and ports.
