Yemeni missiles hit Ben Gurion Airport, missile base, vital Israeli targets
SANAA, April 13 (YPA) – The Yemeni armed forces of the Sanaa government announced on Sunday evening the implementation of two military operations against vital military targets of Israeli occupation.
In a statement issued this evening, Sanaa forces explained that the first operation was carried out with two ballistic missiles, one of them a hypersonic “Palestine 2” missile, and targeted the Sodet Micha base in the occupied area east of Ashdod, which is a missile base used for launching Jericho missiles and Arrow missile batteries, while a “Thulfiqar” missile targeted Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Jaffa area.
The statement indicated that in the second operation, drones were used and targeted a vital Israeli target in the occupied Ashkelon area with a drone.
Sanaa forces confirmed that the two operations successfully hit their targets, causing the closure of Ben Gurion Airport for about an hour, creating a state of panic and confusion among the Zionist settlers, and forcing millions of them to enter shelters.
The statement also stressed that “the Israeli enemy, along with the Americans, must realize that Yemen—its leadership, people, and army—will not back down from its steadfast position of supporting and backing the oppressed Palestinian people, whatever the repercussions and whatever the results.”
It added that this support and assistance would not stop unless the aggression against Gaza is stopped and the siege is lifted.
