Sanaa Foreign Ministry condemns Israeli enemy’s bombing of Baptist Hospital

SANAA, April 13 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sanaa government strongly condemned on Sunday the Zionist enemy’s targeting of the Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

In its statement issued today, the ministry expressed its denunciation of the Zionist acts of violence in Gaza and the genocidal crimes committed by Israel on a daily basis, the latest of which was the targeting of the hospital in the center of the Strip.

The ministry noted that the Zionist aggression has resulted in the deaths of more than 50,000 martyrs and the wounding of more than 116,000, most of whom were children and women.

The statement described these acts as a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian norms, charters, and laws. It added that the suspicious silence of the international community encourages the Israeli entity to repeat its attacks on the Palestinian people and disregard humanitarian values and international law.

The ministry called on the international community, particularly the Security Council, to take a firm stance to condemn this crime and compel Israel to halt its aggression and blockade of Gaza.

In its statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call to Arab and Islamic countries to move beyond the stage of denunciation and condemnation and to carry out their moral and religious responsibilities by using every available means to pressure Israel to end its aggression and siege of Gaza.

The statement pointed to the US administration’s responsibility for the genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinians and called on the free people of the world to demonstrate in solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemn the massacres.

The ministry affirmed the solidarity of Yemen, its people, leadership, and government, with the Palestinian people against the Zionist aggression in Gaza and supported the Palestinians’ right to self-defense, liberation from occupation, and the establishment of their independent state with Al-Quds city as its capital.
