BEIRUT, April 11 (YPA) – An Israeli infantry battalion crossed on Friday the Lebanese border and entered the parks of the town of Wazzani in the south of Lebanon.
“An enemy infantry battalion crossed the border and entered the Wazzani parks,” without providing further details,” the Lebanese National News Agency said in a brief statement.
On Thursday, the agency reported that an Israeli occupation’s drone carried out two consecutive airstrikes, targeting a drilling rig and a bulldozer in the border town of Aita al-Shaab.
IT added that the targeting coincided with Israeli reconnaissance helicopters flying over the region.
Since the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon took effect, Israeli occupation have committed more than 1,440 violations, leaving approximately 125 dead and at least 371 wounded, according to an Anadolu Agency.
