WOFRD condemns militiamen’s crime of killing prisoner

SANAA, July 24 (YPA) – Women organization for Rights and Development on Tuesday condemned the crime of Saudi-backed militiamen of torture and killing prisoners, the last of which is the killing  a prisoner.

The organization said,  in a statement received by Yemen Press Agency, that the soldiers of the coalition forces and militiamen executed one of the prisoners and throw his body from the top of the mountain which considered as a brutal violation of the Geneva Convention on prisoners and all international and humanitarian conventions and conventions.

The statement considered what the prisoners are subjected of  torture acts, representation, murder, burning and liquidation in secret prisons crimes fall within the framework of violence and terrorism which are incompatible with all the laws of heaven.

The statement called on the international and humanitarian organizations, especially the United Nations and the Human Rights Council, to investigate all crimes committed against the prisoners by the coalition and its militiamen and bringing them to the courts to receive the deterrent punishment, as well as the urgent investigation to reveal the fate of the prisoners and to ensure their safety.
