Comprehensive strike paralyzes West Bank, Jerusalem in solidarity with Gaza

WEST BANK,  April 07 (YPA) – A comprehensive strike paralyzed all aspects of life across the West Bank and Jerusalem on Monday, in solidarity with Gaza and mourning the lives lost to Israeli aggression.

The schools, universities, and both government and private institutions announced the suspension of work today, and the shops closed their doors in response to the call for a strike.

The strike coincides with the Global Day of Action in support of Gaza.

Popular, factional, and union movements issued calls on Sunday for a full-scale strike, joining international solidarity efforts and rejecting Israel’s ongoing genocidal war on Gaza.

The strike coincides with worldwide protests demanding an end to the Israeli brutal war and condemning the Zionist enemy’s crimes in Gaza.

Activists on social media launched campaigns under hashtags like #StrikeForGaza, urging global pressure on governments to act against Israel’s massacres.
