GAZA, April 02 (YPA) -In a new crime added to its series of violations, the Israeli occupation forces committed a horrific massacre today, Wednesday, in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
According to local media sources, an Israeli strike targeted in the morning an UNRWA infirmary sheltering displaced families in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, killing at least 19 people, including nine children, and injuring others.
Dr. Munir Al-Bursh, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said that 9 children were among the victims of this direct attack.
This escalation comes following the resumption of Israel’s war on Gaza since March 18, after it backed out of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas, which had lasted for 58 days starting from January 19, with mediation from Qatar and Egypt and U.S. support.
Israeli attacks have killed at least 1,042 people and wounded 2,542 others in Gaza since “Israel” broke the ceasefire with the Hamas Movement on March 18, 2025, according to Gaza’s health ministry on Tuesday.
The cumulative toll of the genocide since October 7, 2023, has now climbed to 50,423 martyrs and 114,638 injuries, according to the latest figures from Gaza’s Health Ministry.
