CAIRO, March 31 (YPA) – Several Egyptian cities witnessed mass demonstrations on Monday morning following Eid al-Fitr prayers in support of Palestine, with thousands of Egyptians gathering in various squares to express their solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
In the Egyptian city of Hurghada, demonstrators waving Palestinian and Egyptian flags chanted slogans in support of Palestine, affirming their solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of the genocide carried out by “Israel”.
In Cairo’s Al-Hussein Mosque, Egyptians staged a demonstration after the Eid prayers, expressing their backing for Egypt’s official stance rejecting the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
The demonstrators called for an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, reaffirming their rejection of displacement operations and war crimes.
They stressed that all plans aimed at emptying the land of its original inhabitants would not succeed due to the steadfastness and resilience of the Palestinian people.
The demonstrators raised Palestinian flags alongside Egyptian flags in a clear message of solidarity, reaffirming the unity of the popular stance regarding the Palestinian cause.
They chanted slogans in support of Palestine and the Egyptian position rejecting displacement, such as “No to displacement” and “With our soul, with our blood, we sacrifice for you, O Palestine.”
