WEST BANK, March 29 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces stormed various areas of the West Bank on Thursday, launching a widespread arrest campaign amid clashes that left a number of wounded .
In Tulkarm, the occupation forces raided the town of Qaffin to the north, conducting a raid into several homes, arresting six Palestinian citizens.
The occupation forces also stormed the town of Atil, north of Tulkarm. According to local sources, they raided the “Fakhruddin Exchange” shop, smashing its door with a military vehicle, conducting search and vandalism operations inside, and posted notices announcing a decision to shut down all its branches.
Additionally, the occupation soldiers detained several young men near the municipality building, subjecting them to on-the-spot interrogations before releasing them.
In Hebron, three youths were injured, and a father and his daughter were arrested during the occupation forces’ incursion into the town of Beit Ummar to the north.
Palestinian activist Mohammed Awad stated that the occupation forces raided several neighborhoods in Beit Ummar, firing live ammunition at citizens, injuring three children (aged 16), two of whom were shot in the thigh and the third in the leg with live bullets.
The activist added that the occupation forces arrested a man and his daughter after raiding and searching their home.
In Nablus, the occupation forces arrested four Palestinians after raiding and searching their family homes in the the Al-Shaykh Muwannis neighborhood of Balata refugee camp. Meanwhile, the occupation forces burned a house after firing gas grenades into it.
A 15-year-old boy was also shot in the foot with live ammunition during the occupation forces’ incursion into Balata camp, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
In Qalqilya, the occupation army arrested the father and brother of a prisoner after raiding their home.
The occupation’s arrests also included four citizens after their homes were raided and searched.
Additionally, the occupation forces arrested four young men during their incursion into the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, as well as the town of Silwad northeast of Ramallah.
According to local sources, the occupation forces arrested two more young men after raiding their homes in Silwad.
In Ramallah, the occupation army also stormed the Ein Musbah neighborhood, arresting a young man from his home, while another young man was arrested from his vehicle at the Ein Sinia checkpoint north of Ramallah.
