Irish MP Mick Wallace slams Zionist brutality in Gaza, calls it western colonialism

SANAA, March 23 (YPA) – Irish MP Mick Wallace strongly criticized the “excessive Zionist brutality” in Gaza, considering it a manifestation of Western colonialism and imperialism.

During his speech at the Third International Conference “Palestine, the Central Issue of the Nation” held in Sana’a, Wallace emphasized that the Zionist entity only understands the language of violence, noting that Zionism justifies its crimes under the pretext of confronting what it calls “barbarism and civilization.”

The Irish MP questioned, “Are those committing massacres in Gaza civilized? And are America and Europe civilized as they watch these massacres and remain silent?” He asserted that silence in the face of these crimes’ distances them from civilization.

Wallace praised Yemen’s stance against Western imperialism, saying, “Because you in Yemen have faced Western imperialism, they labeled you as terrorists,” pointing out that imperialism is the real source of terrorism, and more than 90% of terrorism in the world today is carried out by Western colonial powers and their allies.

He added that Europeans are starting to discover the lies of Western colonial imperialism, considering that Yemen has set an inspiring example in supporting Gaza and confronting genocide.

He concluded his speech by affirming, “Palestine will be free, and Yemen will be free,” urging the world to learn from Yemen’s experience in resisting injustice and colonialism.

The strong speech by the Irish MP highlighted Yemen’s prominent role in supporting the Palestinian cause, calling on the world to reassess its stance on the regional conflict.
