Five of UNRWA’s employees killed in Gaza Strip

GAZA, Mar. 20 (YPA) – UNRWA announced on Thursday that five of its employees have been killed in recent days in the Gaza Strip.

This came after the Israeli occupation forces bombed the UN office in the Strip, killing and wounding six UN staff.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire via his official website, warning that the continuation of the war will increase the suffering and despair among civilians, including children, in the Gaza Strip.
