President congratulates Sultan of Oman on Renaissance day

SANAA, July 24 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mehdi Al Mashat, sent on Monday a cable of congratulations to Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman on the anniversary of Oman’s Renaissance day.
President al-Mashat expressed congratulations of the Supreme Political Council, the National Salvation Government and Yemeni people to the Sultan Qaboos and Omani people.
Al-Mashat pointed out to the approach and wisdom of Sultan Qaboos since taking the leadership of the process of renaissance of Oman who enabled the Sultanate to occupy an advanced position among the countries of the world, adding that the Renaissance day has become the title of the progress of the Omani people.
Mr. President pointed out that the positions of the Sultanate of Oman which support the unity, security and stability of Yemen.
Sultan Qaboos has been honored with the Arab Human Rights Award 2016 by the Arab-European Center of Human Rights for his great efforts and noble contributions in the field of protection and support of human rights on local, regional and international levels.
Concluding his letter, al-Mashat wished good health and wellness to Sultan Qaboos and more prosperity and stability to the brotherly people of Oman.
