Dr. Al-Daqran: 510 Palestinian martyrs and over 900 injured in Gaza in last 48 hours

GAZA, March 20 (YPA) – Dr. Khalil Al-Daqran, spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, confirmed on Thursday that 510 martyrs and more than 900 injured individuals have been transferred to hospitals over the past 48 hours.

In a press statement, Dr. Al-Daqran explained that 70% of the injured are women and children, most of whom are in critical condition.

He added that some of the wounded have died due to the inability to provide urgent medical care because of the lack of medical equipment.

Dr. Al-Daqran noted that only 15% of the patients and injured have been allowed to leave the Gaza Strip to receive treatment abroad.

Since Tuesday, “Israel” has been launching a violent and intensive assault on the Gaza Strip, targeting civilian homes and announcing the resumption of its war on the enclave, all while a suffocating blockade persists and there is a severe shortage of medical supplies and equipment.
