77 Palestinian civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza

GAZA, March 20 (YPA) – Since dawn on Thursday, 77 Palestinian citizens have been killed, and others are missing as a result of the continued Israeli bombing of various areas of the Gaza Strip.

The occupation warplanes launched airstrikes on the city of Khan Younis in the south of the Strip, targeting the new prayer area near the Indonesian Mosque in the Ma’an area, east of the city.

According to Palestinian sources, 12 citizens were also killed when the Israeli occupation forces targeted the Abu Daqqa family home in Abasan al-Kabira.

Medical sources reported the arrival of 21 martyrs and dozens of injured at the European Hospital due to the occupation’s bombardment of homes east of Khan Younis.

Additionally, occupation aircraft bombed the home of the Jabr family near the Ammar bin Yasser Mosque in the Al-Zahour neighborhood, north of Rafah.

Others were injured by Israeli shelling that targeted a displacement tent in the same neighborhood.

In the northern Gaza Strip, 30 citizens were killed, and dozens were injured when the occupation bombed a mourning house in the Sultans area, west of Beit Lahia.

The occupation warplanes also targeted the home of the Abu Nasser family in Beit Lahia and launched raids on the Al-Da’our area, northwest of the city, in addition to opening fire from helicopter towards the northern and western areas of the city.

Artillery shelling targeted the eastern areas of Gaza City, coinciding with the occupation forces dropping illumination flares.

The occupation army continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip for the third consecutive day, resuming its genocidal war after 58 days of a fragile truce that came into effect on January 19, 2025.
