Nine civilians injured in US airstrikes on Yemen

SANAA, March 19 (YPA) – About nine 9 civilians, seven women and two children, were injured on Wednesday in US airstrikes on a residential neighborhood in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.

A security sources said the US warplanes an airstrike on the residential neighborhood in Al-Thawra district.

The sources added that several homes were damaged as a result of the strike.

Earlier in the day, the US fighter jets had launched an attack on Sanaa, targeting a wedding hall under construction in the same district, which also caused damage to nearby homes.
