Hamas holds Israeli occupation responsible for consequences of any escalation

GAZA, Mar. 03 (YPA) – Osama Hamdan, a leader in the Hamas movement, on Monday held Israeli occupation government responsible for any disruption or escalation, especially with regard to the Israeli captives in Gaza.

Hamdan confirmed that the Israeli occupation, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, seeks to resume the aggression on Gaza, taking advantage of American support after the end of the first phase of the ceasefire.

He explained that the occupation’s violations since the moment of the agreement confirm its intention to thwart it.

Hamdan pointed out that Netanyahu’s acceptance of American proposals to extend the first phase, according to contrary arrangements, reflects a clear attempt to evade the agreement and avoid negotiations for the second phase.

He confirmed Hamas’s commitment to implementing the agreement accurately and moving to the second phase.
