Dozens of medical staff stage protest rally in Damascus

DAMASCUS, March. 02 (YPA) – Dozens of medical staff staged on Sunday a protest rally in the Syrian capital Damascus against the arbitrary decisions of Syria’s new rulers to dismiss a large number of doctors and nurses.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said in a statement that dozens of doctors and nurses took to the streets of the capital and Hama countryside to denounce these measures and the arbitrary decisions.

The statement affirmed that dozens of health sector workers rejected the arbitrary dismissal and forced leave decisions that affected a large number of medical staff.
