DAMASCUS, Feb. 26 (YPA) 0 Israeli occupation warplanes bombed sites in a town south of Syria’s capital, as well as in the southern province of Daraa, late on Tuesday. Simultaneously, Israeli tanks carried out another military incursion into the Arab country.
The Israeli airstrikes targeted locations in the town of Kisweh in the Damascus countryside and near the city of Izraa in the Daraa countryside, southern Syria, according to Al Jazeera TV.
Additionally, occupation forces advanced into the village of Ain al-Bayda in the Quneitra countryside, southern Syria, as reported by local media sources.
Meanwhile, Israeli media outlets claimed that the airstrikes destroyed military infrastructure and weapons caches allegedly used by forces affiliated with the Syrian regime. A Syrian Arab Army camp in the eastern Daraa countryside was also bombed.
According to Syrian state media, Israeli warplanes were spotted flying over Daraa province. Residents in Damascus reported hearing low-flying aircraft and the sound of multiple explosions late on Tuesday evening.
