Israeli occupation army re-storm Nablus hours after withdrawing from it

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Feb. 25 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army re-stormed the city of Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank, from several axes, hours after withdrawing from it.

Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation army stormed the city of Nablus from several axes, and its forces are present near the western cemetery in the city.

The witnesses said that clashes broke out between Palestinians and the occupation army then they fired tear gas canisters, whereas field medics said they had treated a number of citizens who had been injured by tear gas inhalation.

Previously, the occupation army stormed several neighborhoods in Nablus and searched shops before withdrawing.

This coincides with a military operation that has been ongoing since January 21 in Palestinian cities and camps in the northern West Bank, especially in Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas, leaving 61 martyrs, tens of thousands displaced, and widespread destruction, according to the Ministry of Health.

The Palestinian authorities launched warnings that this operation comes within the framework of Netanyahu government’s plan to annex the West Bank and declare sovereignty over it, which could represent an official declaration of the death of the two-state solution.
