GAZA, Feb. 20 (YPA) -Preparations are underway this Thursday morning to hand over the bodies of four individuals who had been detained by the Palestinian resistance.
According to Israeli army radio, citing a security source, the Israeli occupation forces are preparing to return the bodies starting at 9:00 AM at a location south of the Gaza Strip in Bani Suheila, Khan Younis.
The handover takes place on the 33rd day of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, with Palestinian resistance factions set to receive the bodies of four Israeli prisoners today, Thursday. Additionally, six living detainees will be released next Saturday.
On Wednesday, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced they would release the remains of Israeli prisoner Oded Levshitz, one of the detainees deliberately killed by the Israeli military in airstrikes during the Al-Aqsa Flood battle.
Meanwhile, Abu Bilal, spokesperson for the Mujahideen Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, stated that the bodies of the Bibas family would be transferred in Gaza today as part of the Al-Aqsa Flood prisoner exchange deal.
