Security Belt Forces’ commander Killed in shooting attack in Yafa’a

LAHJ, Feb. 06 (YPA) – Local sources reported that Khaled Qamatah, a commander in the Security Belt forces affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council (STC), was killed by gunfire from tribal militants in the Yafa’a region.

The sources clarified that militants loyal to Sheikh Ali Yahya Harhara opened fire on Khaled Qamatah, the commander of the emergency forces in the Labus area of Yafe’, killing him after he had allegedly assaulted Sheikh Harhara.

A number of emergency recruits were also injured during the shooting attack.
