Yemen army attacks positions of Saudi-backed militias in Jizan

JIZAN, July 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Monday launched an offensive on the positions of Saudi-backed militias in Jizan province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army targeted the militias’ positions at MBC and off Dowd M mountains killing and injuring dozens of them, the official confirmed.

A military vehicle belonging to the militias was destroyed by guided-missile off Dowd Mountain, killing all its crew members, the official said.

The official added that the army snipers shot dead two of Saudi-backed militias in Bajl and Mashal sites.
