Hadramout Tribal Alliance prevents exports of crude oil

HADRAMOUT, Feb. 02 (YPA) – The head of the Hadramout Tribal Alliance, Sheikh Amr bin Habrish Al-Ali, directed the alliance’s “security committee”, on Sunday, to stop the export of crude oil from the governorate starting tomorrow, Monday.

The alliance said in a circular published on Facebook that this measure comes to preserve Hadramout’s wealth and after the people of Hadramout gave the Leadership Council sufficient time to decide on implementing Hadramout’s legitimate entitlements.

He added, “This requires us to take these measures to respond and give Hadramout its rightful place as an independent party within the Yemeni equation.”

This comes after Aden Electricity announced yesterday that the “Petro Masila” station operating on raw fuel will soon stop operating within the coming hours.
