WEST BANK, Feb. 02 (YPA) – Four Palestinians were killed and several others were injured on Saturday night following Israeli airstrikes targeting the city of Jenin and the nearby town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
According to a brief statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, two people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, while two others were killed when an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in Qabatiya.
An Israeli drone fired at a vehicle on a busy street in Qabatiya, killing two Palestinians and injuring others.
A separate drone attack targeted a motorcycle in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, resulting in two more fatalities.
Earlier in the evening, Israeli occupation forces bombed a group of young men near the Al-Saadi family hall in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, killing 16-year-old Ahmad Abdul Halim Al-Saadi and injuring two others.
With the latest casualties, the death toll in Jenin governorate has risen to 24 since the start of Israel’s military offensive on the city and its refugee camp 12 days ago, in addition to dozens of injuries.
