Hamas hands over Israeli prisoner “Agam Berger” to Red Cross in Jabalia refugee camp

GAZA, Jan. 30 (YPA) –The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas released one of them Israeli captives on Thursday from the middle of the rubble in Jabalia camp, in northern Gaza.

The shadow unit of the Al-Qassam Brigades handed over the captive, Agam Berger, to the Red Cross in the Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip. Fighters were deployed near Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalia, an area where Israeli occupation forces had previously arrested hundreds of Palestinians and killed many others.

 The the other two Zionist captives, including soldier “Arbil Yehud”,  will be released in front of the ruins of the home of leader and martyr Yahya Sinwar in Khan Yunis.

The Israeli Prison Service stated that it was preparing “operationally and logistically for the release of Palestinian detainees as part of the exchange deal framework.” According to the service, detainees will be transferred from Ofer Prison to the release point in the West Bank, while the rest will be sent to the Kerem Shalom crossing.

Meanwhile, Palestinian media outlets published photos and videos of the moment Hamas released the Israeli captives, showing members of the Al-Qassam Brigades deployed at the handover site and around Sinwar’s home.
