SANAA, Jan. 22 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expected on Wednesday that temperatures would continue to improve over the next 24 hours.
In its weather bulletin, the center explained that clear to cold weather would target the provinces of Bayda, Amran, Dhamar, Saada, Sanaa, the highlands of Hajjah, Mahweet, in addition to Rayma, Ibb, Dhalea, Taiz, Lahj and Abyan, Jawf, and Marib.
It stated that the skies of the coastal areas would be partly cloudy on parts of the southern coasts, with the possibility of scattered light rain, while clear to partly cloudy will be on the western coasts and the Socotra Archipelago, with the moderate to strong winds on the south of the western coasts, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
According to the center, the atmosphere of the desert areas may be clear and relatively cold to cold in the deserts of Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra.
It warned citizens in the highlands, especially the elderly, children and workers during the late night and early morning hours of the cold weather.
