STC sends threats to Saudi Arabia

ADEN, Jan. 15 (YPA)- The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) said on Tuesday that the famine is ravaging the people of Aden and other southern provinces controlled by Saudi-led coalition.

A member of the council’s presidency, Fadhl Al-Jaadi, stated in a post on social media platform “X” that “there are families suffering from hunger to the point of death as the currency continues to collapse.”

He added that the situation is worsening, with poverty, misery, and suffering escalating among the citizens.

Al-Jaadi, further added, “When hunger prevails, nothing holds any value. Hunger breeds despair and acts as a fire that can ignite revolutions,” which seemed to be a veiled threat directed at the council’s allies, particularly Saudi Arabia.
