Several Palestinian citizens killed as Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip enters its 461st day

GAZA, Jan. 08 (YPA) – The Israeli genocide in Gaza enters its 461st day today, as the Zionist killing machine continues to commit massacres against civilians and displaced people across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

In Deir al-Balah, the number of martyrs has risen to five after Israeli airstrikes targeted the home of the al-Dubji family west of the city of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza last night.

Earlier, a citizen was killed due to an Israeli airstrike near al-Nasser Street west of Gaza.

Additionally, five people were killed and others injured when Zionist drones targeted a group of citizens in the municipal park in downtown Gaza City.

Two citizens were killed, and others injured in an Israeli drone strike near the al-Waha Tower west of Gaza City.

In the southern part of the strip, four citizens were injured when Israeli occupation forces bombed a house near the al-Quba Mosque west of Khan Younis.

Medical sources have reported at least 50 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since Wednesday morning, 33 of them in the northern part of the strip.

The Israeli occupation forces continue their bloody assault on Gaza, which has resulted in the martyrdom of 45,936 citizens, the majority of whom are women and children, with around 109,274 others wounded.

This has caused massive destruction to infrastructure, commercial, and residential buildings, as well as widespread famine and a blockade on the flow of aid into the strip.
