Iran begins first phase of testing defense systems of “Natanz” nuclear facility

TEHRAN, Jan. 08 (YPA) – The first phase of the Iranian Air Defense Force’s joint maneuver “Eqtedar” began on Tuesday around the “Natanz” nuclear center, by order of the commander of the air defense headquarters in the region.

Tasnim International News Agency reported that the air defense units of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force will carry out, in the first phase, a comprehensive defense of the Shahid Ahmadi Roshan nuclear site.

The agency added, “This will take place in an environment filled with complex air threats and difficult electronic warfare conditions, with the aim of enhancing the ability to confront any attack.”
