Al-Qassam Brigades broadcasts message from Israeli captive in Gaza

GAZA, Jan. 04 (YPA) – Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, published on Saturday a new letter from an Israeli female prisoner held by the brigades in the Gaza Strip.

 Liri Albag, 19 years old, appeared in a video clip in which she addressed the Israeli occupation government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu, saying, “I ask you, O government of Israel. I really want to ask you. Do you want to kill us?”

Albag continued: “My whole life is still ahead of me, but it has stopped, and at the beginning of the New Year, the whole world celebrates as we begin a dark year and a year of loneliness.”

She asserted that the prisoners held by the resistance are not among the priorities of the Netanyahu government or the occupation army, “Even the world has begun to forget us and does not care about our suffering.”

The Israeli captive stated that one of her colleagues was seriously injured due to the current Israeli army operations in the Gaza Strip. “We are in a terrifying nightmare, and our survival is linked to the withdrawal of the Israeli forces and their failure to reach us.”

 Albag addressed the Israeli entity’s Minister of War, saying, “You know my father. Look into his eyes and tell him that he and my mother will not hug their daughter. Look at him and say that. You will not have the courage to do so.”

 She added, “I saw my death with my own eyes, and what happened with my friend. I realized that our lives are not important to you. I simply understand that you are manipulating our destinies… It is certain that you will not be able to get us out of here alive through military operations.”

Continuing to address the occupation war minister, Albag said, “This is a crazy chase. What we are aware of through your actions is unnatural. We are under crazy bombardment daily, do you know? What is life like in a place where you are bombed and there is no shelter?”

She concluded, saying “If something happens to me, remember me, remember my name, and remember this video, and let it be written on the grave that what happened is because of the government and the army. They are convicted and accused of killing us, and my blood is on their hands.”
