Family of journalist Shatha Sabbagh holds PA responsible for her death in Jenin

WEST BANK, Dec. 29 (YPA) – The Palestinian Authority forces have shot and killed journalist Shatha Sabbagh with a bullet to the head in the Jenin refugee camp, in the occupied West Bank.

The family of the slain journalist confirmed that the PA opened fire on Sabbagh while she was stepping outside her home.

The family issued a press statement on Sunday, addressing the public opinion, following her death from being shot by a PA sniper in the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank.

The Sabbagh family held the PA and its security forces directly responsible for this crime, emphasizing that this dangerous escalation reflects the transformation of these forces into repressive tools that practice terrorism against their own people, instead of protecting their dignity and confronting the occupation.
