Earthquake hits Red Sea with magnitude of 4.4 on Richter scale

WORLD, Dec. 29 (YPA) – Seismic and volcanic monitoring stations recorded on Sunday an earthquake in the Red Sea with a magnitude of 4.4 on the Richter scale.

Yesterday, a 4.7 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Gulf of Aden (Owen Fracture Zone), within Yemen’s territorial waters.
