GAZA, Dec. 28 (YPA) – The World Health Organization announced, on Saturday, that Kamal Adwan Hospital has become “empty” after a military operation by the Israeli occupation army that put the last major health facility in the northern Gaza Strip out of service.
“Kamal Adwan Hospital is now empty,” WHO declared.
The organization said that it was horrified by the Israeli operation, and said it had lost contact with the hospital director, Hussam Abu Safia.
The organization explained, in a statement, that 15 patients in critical condition, 50 caregivers and 20 health workers were transferred, yesterday evening, to the Indonesian hospital, which lacks the equipment and supplies necessary to provide adequate care.
