OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Dec. 26 (YPA) – An Israeli research center highlighted that December has experienced the most significant surge in attacks by Sanaa forces on “Israel” since the beginning of war .
According to a report published by Channel 12 on Wednesday, “In recent weeks, as the level of fighting in Gaza decreased and a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah came into effect, Yemen unexpectedly became an increasingly central arena.”
The channel added that “the Houthis are increasingly succeeding in challenging Israeli defense systems and hitting targets within Israeli territory.
According to data from the Alma Center for Policy and Security Challenges, this month has seen a surge in the number of attacks from Yemen, more than any other month since the war began.
The report quoted the center stating that “the Houthis have carried out 15 attacks on Israel since the beginning of the month, a 200% increase compared to last month, and 66% more than any other month in the war.”
It added: “On average, the Houthis have carried out 4 attacks per month since October 7, bringing the total to 62 attacks.”
