“Israeli” forces control water resources in Syria

DAMASCS, Dec. 25 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces have continued to control water resources and expand again to a depth of 7 square kilometers inside new towns in Quneitra province.

Syrian activists reported that the occupation forces took control of almost all water resources in Syria after occupying the Mantara Dam.

In addition, the Syrian Human Rights Observatory said, “Israeli bulldozers and military vehicles entered the Al-Mantara Dam area in Quneitra, and the occupation forces established military points and raised earthen barriers around the dam.”

The observatory pointed out that the Zionist occupation forces informed the residents of the villages of Umm al-Azam and al-Adnaniyah of specific times to enter and exit the area.
