SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expected a cold wave in a number of provinces of Yemen.
In a weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the cold weather would target the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb, and Jawf, south and west of Marib, Dhalea, Lahj, and Abyan, in additional to the deserts and highlands of Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra, Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma and Taiz.
The center warned citizens in the highlands, deserts and plateaus of the very cold weather during the late night and early morning hours.
It called on farmers to take precautions against the effects of the very cold weather and to take the necessary measures to protect crops, livestock herders, beekeepers and poultry farmers.
