SNF Leaders meet French ambassador

SANAA, July 21 (YPA) – A number of the Southern National Front (SNF) leaders on Saturday met with the French ambassador to Yemen Christian Tistot.
In the meeting, the leadership of SNF referred to the practices of the UAE occupation forces against the people of the southern provinces and acts of torture in the secret prisons which established them as well as the establishment of militiamen to destabilize security and stability.
The leaders dealt with the practices of the occupation in the Yemeni islands and ports as well as the disruption of its activities, which led to the loss of many workers for their jobs and sources of livelihood.
The leaders stressed on the importance of the French government’s role in the implementation of the recommendations of the European Parliament on solidarity with the Yemeni people and the cessation of arms’ sale to the countries of the coalition.
The French ambassador expressed his understanding of all the issues raised.
