TEHRAN, Dec. 21 (YPA) – An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale struck the city of Haftakal in Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran on Friday, without any reports of human or material losses.
The Iranian National Earthquake Monitoring Center said in a statement that the earthquake occurred at a depth of ten kilometers from the Earth’s surface, and its epicenter was the city of Haftekel.
On December 5, an earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale struck Khuzestan province, without causing any casualties.
