Mahra people declare confronting foreign conspiracies

MAHRA, Dec. 18 (YPA) – Head of Mahra sit-in committee against foreign presence, Sheikh Ali Salem Al-Huraizi, affirmed on Wednesday that the tribesmen would not allow foreign forces to establish any camps in their areas.

He called on the youth in a meeting he held on Tuesday in the city of Al-Ghaydah, the center of Mahra province, to raise their readiness and vigilance to defend their province by all legitimate means and to thwart all conspiracies being hatched in Mahra.

Al-Huraizi said, addressing the youth,“Mahra is a trust in everyone’s hands, and at the forefront of that are the youth who represent the future.”

He explained that the committee would hold continuous meetings and contacts with all partisan and tribal components and social figures to stand united to reject the formation of any armed factions under any name in the difficult exceptional circumstances that Yemen is going through.
