Qatar will resume work of its embassy in Syria

DOHA, Dec. 16 (YPA) – The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday the resumption of the work of its embassy in Syria, starting tomorrow.

Earlier, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al-Ansari announced that “a Qatari diplomatic delegation arrived in Damascus to complete the necessary procedures for opening the Qatari embassy.”

Al-Ansari added that the delegation renewed, during its meetings with the interim government in Syria, “the State of Qatar’s full commitment to supporting the Syrian people.”
