Several Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes across Gaza

GAZA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – Several Palestinian citizens, including children and women, were killed and injured since the early hours of Sunday in Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian sources, a number civilians were killed and others wounded when an Israeli airstrike hit a tent sheltering displaced people in the northern Gaza town of Izbat Beit Hanoun.

In another attack, an Israeli artillery shell struck a residential area on Sultan Abdul Hamid Street in the neighboring city of Beit Hanoun, killing a man, his wife, and two daughters. Several others were injured in the shelling.

Earlier in the night, Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Arouq family in the Abu Iskander area of Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, west of Gaza City. Several civilians were killed and wounded in this strike as well.

Another fatal airstrike hit a home on Nafaq Street in central Gaza City, claiming the lives of four people and injuring several others.

Medical sources confirmed that the death toll in Gaza since the night before has reached 14, with 30 more wounded.
