MAHRAH, July 21 (YPA) – Tribesmen of the southeastern province of Maharah on Saturday went into streets again to demand the driving out of Saudi-UAE-led foreign occupation forces from the province.
The tensions escalated following the establishment of a new military checkpoint 50 km south of Maharah provincial capital city of Ghaydha.
The occupation forces had withdrawn from several checkpoints after pressure by the tribesmen that led to withdrawal agreements, said the residents, adding that the occupation forces, however backed away on the agreement and return running more military and security checkpoints inside and outside Ghaydha.
