ABYAN, Dec. 12 (YPA) – A huge fire engulfed on Thursday a camp for displaced people in Khanfar district of Abyan province, southern Yemen.
Human rights sources in the province said that the fire broke out in the “Miklan” camp in the Joul Al-Sada area of the district, causing significant material losses without any injuries among citizens.
The sources confirmed that the fire spread rapidly in the displaced people’s homes built of huts and trees, and destroyed all their belongings.
A number of the displaced people are being left homeless without mentioning the reasons behind the fire.
