Yemeni Parliament approves medicine and pharmacy law

SANAA, Dec. 11 (YPA) – The House of Representatives in Sanaa voted on Wednesday on the draft medicine and pharmacy law after discussing it in light of the report of the special committee charged with studying it.

The draft law aims to regulate the registration, import, manufacture, distribution, and circulation of medicine and to ensure its safety, quality, and effectiveness, in addition to what is related to the rational use of medicine and regulating its prescription, dispensing, and sale.
