WORLD, Dec. 09 (YPA) -Pro-Palestinian activists organized a protest in front of the Australian-based Rheinmetall NIOA Munitions (RNM) factory in Maryborough, Australia, to condemn its complicity in selling weapons used in Israeli military operations against Palestinians.
The factory produces 155mm shells, which are among the most widely used munitions in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The protesters also called for the closure of the factory and an end to supporting Zionism through the arms trade.
Pro-Palestine solidarity activists have previously organized several marches condemning the Israeli occupation’s massacres, calling for an end to the war and the lifting of the blockade on Gaza.
