Syrian FM: the current developments may pose a serious threat to the security of the region

BAGHDAD, Dec. 06 (YPA) – Syrian Foreign Minister Bassam Sabbagh confirmed that the current developments may pose “a serious threat to the security of the region as a whole.

He arrived in Baghdad on Thursday evening amid escalating conflict in Syria, with rebel factions gaining control of Hama and nearing the outskirts of Homs.

The foreign ministers of Syria, Iraq, and Iran are holding a meeting in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, to discuss ways to support the Syrian government in facing the American-Israeli plan.
