Former Austrian FM accuses Western countries of supporting militants in Syria

AUSTRIA, Dec. 01 (YPA) – Former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl announced on Sunday that “Western countries are playing a dirty game in Syria and Ukraine by sending weapons and mercenaries.”

“Western countries are sending weapons, drugs, money, and mercenaries to West Asia and its surroundings in order to implement their very dirty plans,” Kneissl wrote on the Telegram platform.

Kneissl also expressed her agreement with what one of her Syrian friends said, who described terrorists attacking Syrian cities as “dark forces.” She quoted her friend as saying, “The weapons the terrorists own, the drones, and the training they received confirm that they are supported and trained internationally.”

Earlier, several countries, including Russia, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, and the Sultanate of Oman, denounced the dangerous developments taking place in Syria.
