GAZA, Nov. 28 (YPA) – At least 12 Palestinians were killed, and several others were injured in Israeli airstrikes on Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, and Khan Younis in the south, continuing the ongoing genocide for nearly 14 months.
Palestinian sources reported that 4 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the homes of the Suhweil and Zaqout families in Beit Lahia.
Additionally, Israeli artillery stationed east of Gaza City launched heavy shelling on areas surrounding Sheikh Zayed Roundabout, Beit Lahia, Jabalia refugee camp, and the areas of al-Tawam and al-Saftawi, north of Gaza City, resulting in the martyrdom of a young man and injuries to others.
Reports also mentioned heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles west of Jabalia camp, and in the areas of al-Tawam, al-Saftawi, and east of Jabalia city. Israeli forces also carried out new demolition operations on residential buildings in Jabalia camp.
In Gaza City, Israeli military vehicles and artillery fired intensively at areas near the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city, according to witnesses.
In the central Gaza Governorate, Israeli fighter jets carried out airstrikes near the Maaz Ibn Jabal Mosque in the New Camp area, north of the Nuseirat refugee camp, while artillery targeted the area northwest of the camp.
Israeli occupation aircraft continued to launch ongoing and intensive airstrikes on the Nuseirat camp, focusing on the upper floors of buildings like the “Nazareth Tower,” “Salhi Tower 3,” and “Future Tower,” according to witnesses.
Israeli occupation forces seem to be targeting tall buildings to prevent the exposure of the Netzarim axis, which divides the Gaza Strip.
In the south, a medical source told Anadolu Agency that four Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli airstrike near tents for displaced people in the Abasan area, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Another two Palestinians were killed, and two others injured when an Israeli drone targeted a gathering of citizens in the town of al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis.
Additionally, a Palestinian woman died from injuries sustained a week ago when tents for displaced people in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis were bombed.
In Rafah, the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces carried out demolitions of residential buildings and housing blocks in the eastern and central parts of the city, while heavy gunfire was reported from military vehicles in the Araba area, according to witnesses.
