SANAA, Nov. 27 (YPA) – Sanaa-based Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, Moeen Hashem Al-Mahaqri, affirmed on Wednesday that the ministry would work for restarting textile mill and activating all industrial energies.
This came in a visit to inspect the conditions of the Yemeni Textile Industries Company factory in the capital, Sanaa.
During the visit, the minister stressed the importance of activating all wasted industrial energies within the framework of the economic stimulus program, support national industries, and translate the objectives of the government of change and construction program.
Al-Mahaqri noted the exemptions provided to the local textile and clothing industry and the advantages and facilities included in the new investment draft law that ensure the preservation of national capital.
In his turn, the General Manager of the Yemeni Textile Industries Company, Nabil Al-Rajwi, appreciated the keenness of the Ministry’s leadership to restart the factory, noting that the company would work with the ministry to overcome the obstacles and impediments and ensure the restart of the factory, whose production capacity reaches 7-8 million meters annually.
