Israeli forces suffer from heavy casualties in Gaza fresh battles

GAZA, Nov. 25 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces have suffered from heavy casualties as a result of the ongoing attack by the Palestinian resistance in the various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said in a statement on Monday that its fighters had eliminated an Israeli infantry force, consisting of 10 soldiers, in a well-planned ambush in a house near the Taybeh Mosque in the center of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam Brigades explained that it targeted the occupation force with machine guns and hand grenades, killing and wounding many them.

In Beit Lahia, the Qassam also targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with a “Yassin 105” shell on Al-Hatabiya Street.

In turn, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, affirmed that it engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli soldiers that tried to penetrate the Al-Shimaa area, west of Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, destroying a Merkava tank.

Meanwhile, the Martyr Omar Al-Qassem Forces announced that they shelled the enemy forces positioned in the Jahar Al-Dik area in the central Gaza Strip, with a number of mortar shells.
